Since 1993 she has been focusing on the body, with its constant transformations and illusions. Taking on the female role models, Caira - model and actress – captures the neurosis of living with models and clichés from cinematic icons and mass media. In her latest works self-portraits are combined with worries and dilemmas from daily life, in an attempt to highlight the delicate balance between reality and fiction.
