“Un altro Novecento” (“Another Twentieth Century”), an exhibition featuring the museum’s collections of works on paper, curated by Fabio Cafagna and Elena Volpato, continues at GAM until 1 November. Numerous works in the exhibition belong to the De Fornaris Foundation: from drawings by Felice Casorati to watercolours by Giorgio Morandi and Carol Rama, from sketches by Gigi Chessa to designs for the covers of historic volumes published by Einaudi, created by artists including Renato Guttuso and Carlo Levi. Also on display is Mario Sturani’s Self-Portrait in oil and pencil on paper, chosen as the exhibition’s key image.
