The De Fornaris Foundation has received as a donation a valuable album containing more than 200 drawings by the Turin painter Luigi Vacca (1778–1854). It includes sketches on a variety of subjects produced by the artist over the course of his long career; some are preparatory studies for works that were later completed but have since been lost. Among other projects, Vacca created works for several churches in Turin and also worked as a theatre set designer.
