STORELLI Felice Maria Ferdinando

Turin, 1778 o 1779 - Paris (France), 1854 Painter. After studying in Turin under P.G. Palmieri, he moved to Paris in 1800, where he was to spend the rest of his life, exhibiting regularly at the Salons with views and landscapes, and winning the gold medal in 1824. From 1816 he taught painting to M.me du Berry; from 1817 he was the Accademico d'onore in Parma. He exhibited in Turin from 1820 onwards and Brera from 1832. He carried out landscapes and historical paintings for Carlo Alberto of Savoy (1840-44). In 1841 he was awarded the Civil Order of Savoy.
