PRAMPOLINI Enrico
Modena, 1894 - Rome, 1956
Painter, sculptor, set designer, academic. From his debut as a Futurist (Sprovieri Gallery, Rome, 1914) he played a key role in the movement, forging links with avant-garde circles in Europe and promoting and studying the movement. His work is characterised by a contamination of techniques and aspirations to totality. In the post-war period, through the Rome Art Club, he stimulated a new international approach among the younger generations.
