MONDINO Aldo

Turin, 1938 Between 1958 and 1960 he lived in Paris. When he came back to Italy he began showing works inspired by a surrealist form of organicism; then in the context of Pop Art he began to work with ready made iconography (road signs, children's books). He also produces paintings 'completed' by elements of interior design and often depicts a puppet drawn to his own likeness. His painting also features Oriental overtones.
