CARAVAGGIO Gianni

Rocca San Giovanni, 1968 Born in a small town in central Italy, he moved with his family to Germany where he studied philosophy. He returns to Italy to study at the Academy of Fine Arts. He is a student of Luciano Fabro. His research arises first as a reworking of the Poverista language and, later, as an original rethinking of sculptural material, through the classic materials of marble and bronze. The results are works of great formal cleanliness. He teaches Sculpture (or avant-garde) at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
