He lives and works in Milan and Sindelfingen (Germany), where he grew up until 1990. After studying philosophy at the Universities of Florence, Milan and Stuttgart, in 1994 he graduated from Breraβs Accademia di Belle Arti. In the sculptural language he adopts traditional materials such as polychrome marble combined with other unusual ones, such as talcum powder, sugar, lentils or other seeds. The different formal and material solutions of his works synthesize an allegorical and evocative value. Their meanings also take shape through the proposition of the title which involves the observers by stimulating their imagination. The artist defines his works as βDevices for demiurgic actsβ.
