TODERI Grazia
Padova, 1963
After her studies at the Academy of Bologna, she moved to Milan in 1992 and since 2005 has lived between this city and Turin. She comes to the attention of critics with her participation in Aperto '93, during the 45th Venice Biennale. While showing everyday objects in domestic contexts, her works do not hide a sense of unease and a hidden violence. Fascinated by the dynamics of the show, she works on images of historic stadiums, arenas and theaters. In 2001 she won a scholarship from the Amici del Castello di Rivoli, in 2004 she made the video βSemper eademβ, for the reopening of the La Fenice theater in Venice, in 2012 the solo exhibition at the MAXXI in Rome.
