Rivoli (TO), 1959
Painter and etcher. A literature graduate, he is currently professor of Etching techniques at the Turin Accademia Albertina. He has developed a visionary vocation inspired by Baroque literature and nineteenth century America. His Sibyllae (1989) combine gestural vorticism with the emergence of ancestral forms. In the 1990’s he exhibited in Florence, New York, Edinburgh and Turin in personal and collective shows. In 2000 he won the Sulmona prize for etching.
