She studied at the Glasgow School of Art and in 2004 earned a Master’s degree in sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute. In her early exhibitions, she created complex, impermanent sculptures using simple marks and materials, refining relationship with the exhibition space’s stage machinery. Her recent sculptures, often created with glass artisans, explore the boundary between the visible and the invisible. She has exhibited in important venues in Italy and abroad.
