Verolengo (TO), 1829 – Torino, 1882
Painter. Born into a family of wood sculptors and modellers, he won an international competition and moved to New York, taking up residence in America for many years, and mostly there and in Argentina he worked on large-scale historical paintings. Once back in Turin he worked on paintings with a religious theme (canvases in the parish church of S. Maria Assunta, Feletto, Turin).
