“In limine”

Finally, the lime tree has grown, the third element of “In limine”, the work of Giuseppe Penone placed underway by Galileo Ferraris in front of the Gam. The tree should reach with its thin branches the ones in bronze that overlook it: only then will it be that bow imagined by the artist as a kind of “entrance”, or rather “threshold”, which is between the city and the museum . Waiting for the miracle to take place – but there is no hurry, Penone himself exhorts to calm, because the cycles of nature have to do their course – it is good to see the birds that sunbath on the bronze branches of the sculpture, exchanging them for real.
