He debuted in 1961. Active in Turin, in 1967 he joined the Arte Povera movement. His works explore the concept of artistic creation as a language, both in its materials (canvas and frame, colour samples) and exhibition surroundings, and, from the 1970's, its circular internal references to the codexes of the past. Numerous personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
