RAGALZI Sergio

Turin, 1951 He debuted in 1983. As a painter his violent, schematic style recalls F. Kline, Dubuffet and Fautrier, with large shadow-figures, on canvas or outlined in iron, with ancestral, sexual, animal echoes (Ombre atomiche [Atomic shadows], 1985-86). He creates large sculptures with brutal, larval organic forms, with an increasingly abstract component.
