CHESSA Gigi

Turin, 1898 - 1935. He trained with his father Carlo, then at the Accademia Albertina, then with A. Bosia, before encountering Casorati. From 1922 he designed furniture, carpets and ceramics for Lenci, and decorated the Lenci pavilion at the Monza Biennale in 1923. Painter, architect, decorator and designer, he also worked on Gualino’ s Turin Theatre. He took part in the I and II Italian Twentieth Century Shows. From 1929 to 1931 he exhibited with the Six Painters of Turin.
