LO SAVIO Francesco

Rome, 1935 - Marsiglia, (France) 1963 After graduating from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome in 1955, his brief artistic period (1959-63) focused on the relationship between forms, light and visual perception. In 1959-60 he produced the monochromatic Dipinti [Paintings], and Filtri [Filters], where forms emerge from the transparency of the material in light, interpreted as a phenomenon of physics and cosmic energy. In 1962 he illustrated his theories in the book Spazio-Luce [Space-Light].
