MARTINAZZI Bruno

Turin, 1923 Sculptor. After graduating in chemistry, he attended the Libera Accademia d'Arte in Turin (1947-51) and the Istituti d'Arte in Florence and Rome. He debuted as a goldsmith in 1954, then established himself as a sculptor. In 1968 he began working on fragments of the human body. His work features a leaning towards ideal spiritual values combined with a love of formal finish, there is a recurrent anti-war theme.
