Biography

In the 1950s his neo-Dadaism emerged as a free association of images and objects fastened to the canvas (Combine-Paintings, Silk-Screens). After taking up Pop Art, of which he became one of the leading exponents, he turned his attention to images of contemporary visual culture, screen printed and assembled or superimposed with an interaction of diverse elements.
