Tribute to Billie Holiday, 1964

Biography

Both a set designer for television and a graphic designer. In 1965, at the Galleria La Tartaruga in Rome, he exhibited architectural and anatomical details reproduced in arched canvas. This was followed by his "Weapons", taking up an object-based art akin to American Pop, and then by installations in synthetic or natural materials on the theme of nature, which brought him close to Arte Povera. In 1969, GNAM in Rome put on the first retrospective of his work.
