Biography

A sculptor. After graduating in Chemistry, he attended the Libera Accademia d'Arte in Turin (1947-51), and the art schools of Florence and Rome. He made his debut as a goldsmith in 1954, and then made a name for himself as a sculptor. In 1968 he started working on the theme of the fragment of the human body. His works are characterised by ideal and spiritual tensions and a love of formal refinement, often conveying a rejection of war.
