Disarticulating a circle, 1993-1996

Biography

A sculptor, he lives and works in Turin. A graduate from the Accademia Albertina, he started exhibiting in 1960. With a preference for metal castings, in the 1970s he moved from an informal style of conglomerates to a form of geometrical and organic abstraction, before taking up a "pictorial" form of sculpture with views of interiors (fragments of light-spaces: windows, walls, mirrors) inhabited by nudes of sensual intimacy. In the 1980s he returned to abstract geometric fragments. He has made several works for public spaces in Italy and abroad.
