Biography

After studying in Turin in the circle of Casorati, her exhibition career ran parallel to that of her brother Ezio, with whom she took part in the Venice Biennales (from 1948 to 1956) and in solo exhibitions in Turin. In the 1940s and '50s, she moved from an abstractionist stylisation with two-dimensional expanses of colour, similar to those of Moreni, towards an "abstract-naturalist" form of chromatic impasto.
