CORDERO Riccardo

Alba (CN), 1942

Sculptor. Lives and works in Turin. After graduating from the Accademia Albertina, he began exhibiting in 1960. He favours metal fusions. From conglomerations with Art Informel overtones, in the 1970's he went on to develop an abstract style between the geometric and the organic. Then he returned to a more 'pictorial' type of sculpture with views of interiors (fragments of light areas: windows, walls and mirrors) inhabited by nude figures captured in sensual intimacy. In the 1980's he went back to broken up geometric abstracts. Numerous works for public areas in Italy and abroad.
