The Fondazione De Fornaris launches “Il Museo che non c’è”

The new Virtual Museum of the Fondazione De Fornaris is now online and has been created to allow art lovers from all over the world to discover some of the most significant works from the Fondazione De Fornaris collection, including Francesco Hayez’s “L’angelo annunziatore” (The Angel of the Annunciation), Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo’s “L’amore nella vita” (Love of life), Giorgio de Chirico’s “Natura morta con salame” (Still Life with Salami), “Natura morta” (Still Life) by Giorgio Morandi and Alberto Burri’s “Bianco” (White)

Il Museo che non c’è” was designed following the layout of the rooms of the GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino, using state-of-the-art technology to provide interactive exploration via smartphones, tablets and PCs. 3D viewing is also available using Oculus virtual reality technology. The paintings are all viewable in high definition, and sculptures can be explored from 360 degrees.
