STURANI Mario

Ancona, 1906 - Turin, 1978 Painter, graphic designer, potter. School friends with Pavese from the years at the D'Azeglio liceo, he debuted very young (1923) at the Futurist exhibition at the Romano gallery, and went on to exhibit with the Futurists. He became an illustrator for natural history publications and worked considerably for the Lenci company. In 1930 he designed furniture for the Beccaris firm. In 1932 in Paris he worked on Vogue. Once back in Turin he created covers for the publisher Frassinelli.
